Troubleshooting Calif.'s Health Benefit Exchange

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 1:26 PM EDT) -- A primary goal of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) is expansion of individual health insurance coverage. To that end, the the ACA directs states to establish health insurance exchanges. Exchanges are organized health care insurance marketplaces, intended to consolidate the buying power of consumers, simplify health insurance selection and facilitate health plan enrollment.
