Sticking Pedals Prompt Another Toyota Recall

Law360, New York (February 24, 2011, 12:18 PM EST) -- Toyota Motor Corp. announced yet another recall Thursday over sticking accelerator pedals, saying it would withdraw an additional 2.17 million vehicles sold in the United States.

The company said in a statement that it would voluntarily recall about 372,000 RX 330, RX 350 and RX 400h vehicles from 2004 through 2006 and early 2007, along with about 397,000 Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles from 2004 through 2006, in order to replace the driver’s-side floor carpet cover and its two retention clips.
