Report Recommends 32 Fixes For War Contractor Waste

Law360, New York (February 24, 2011, 7:06 PM EST) -- A congressional commission on wartime contracting released its second report on Thursday listing 32 ways to reduce waste it said had cost the U.S. government “tens of billions of dollars” in contracting work in Iraq and Afghanistan.

That “tens of billions” figure makes up a substantial share of the roughly $177 billion the Commission on Wartime Contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan estimates has been spent on contracting work in the two warzones since 2002.
