Whistleblower Says Brickman Overbilled Gov't Lessor

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 2:42 PM EST) -- A federal court on Thursday unveiled a whistleblower’s suit accusing commercial landscaping powerhouse Brickman Group Ltd. LLC of charging Duke Realty Corp., a government real estate manager, for services it reduced or didn’t perform and goods it didn’t use.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio lifted the seal on a False Claims Act complaint lodged in June by Mark Elliott, a former Brickman branch and sales manager, who alleged Brickman systematically defrauded federal properties managed by Duke Realty.
