Sierra Club Sues EPA For Docs On Texas Power Plants

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 3:57 PM EST) -- The Sierra Club sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in California on Wednesday in an effort to recover 350,000 pages of documents that will purportedly bring to light Clean Air Act violations at Luminant coal-fired power plants in Texas.

The Sierra Club and the Environmental Integrity Project lodged the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging the EPA failed to respond to their Freedom of Information Act request in a timely manner.
