Ex-Judge Says Brain Injury Led To Drugs, Stripper

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 3:52 PM EST) -- Former U.S. District Judge Jack Camp Jr., who has admitted to giving an exotic dancer money to buy illicit drugs, asked a Georgia court Monday for a light sentence, saying a brain injury and depression accounted for his offenses.

Camp told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia that a severe concussion from a cycling accident, coupled with a decades-long fight with depression, helped explain the reckless behavior that resulted in his arrest last fall.
