J&J Unit, NYU Sue Abbott Over Humira

Law360, New York (April 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Centocor Inc. and New York University filed a patent infringement suit against Abbott Laboratories Monday over the drug maker’s flagship medication Humira.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Centocor and NYU claim that Humira, a tumor necrosis factor blocker, infringes on their patent, U.S. Patent Number 7,070,775.
