ClearCorrect Faces IP, Competition Suits Over Braces

Law360 (March 1, 2011, 1:21 PM EST) -- In a two-pronged attack Monday, Align Technology Inc. accused orthodontics rival ClearCorrect Inc. of anti-competitively undercharging for its products in a California state court and infringing a portfolio of patents relating to so-called invisible braces in a Texas federal court.

Align filed the infringement action in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and accused ClearCorrect of unlawful business practices in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of San Francisco.
