OLG Seeks $40M In Afghanistan Vehicle Leasing Fight

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 3:39 PM EST) -- Overseas Lease Group Inc. on Monday hit the U.S. government with a lawsuit seeking more than $40 million in damages over the alleged breach of a contract for leased vehicles in Afghanistan.

In a complaint in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based OLG said the government failed to meet its contractual obligations to pay for certain vehicle damages and to lease vehicles for a required one-year period.
