Honeywell Can't Shake NJ Chromium Class Action

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 7:30 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Monday largely denied Honeywell International Inc.'s motion to dismiss a putative class action over alleged health risks and property damage from the dumping of chromium ore processing residue in Jersey City, N.J.

Judge Susan D. Wigenton of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled that the complaint lodged by Jersey City residents against Honeywell and PPG Industries Inc. was within applicable statutes of limitation.
