GAO Denies Belzon Protest Over $12M Army Contract

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 3:31 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office last month rejected Belzon Inc.’s protest over a $12 million contract awarded to Millennium Systems Services Inc. for aviation and missile system logistics, the agency announced Wednesday.

Releasing the public version of a decision first handed down in February, the GAO ruled that the U.S. Army did not mishandle the competing bids for the logistics analysis contract or give undue preference to Millennium based on the fact that its proposal was roughly $1 million less than Belzon’s.
