Policyholder Appeals Conseco Suit Claim Over Hikes

Law360, New York (March 4, 2011, 12:54 PM EST) -- The plaintiff in a class action over Conseco Life Insurance Co.'s plan to triple the rates of certain policies is appealing the dismissal of her unfair business practices claim, despite a California district court's judgment that the hikes were unlawful.
