Rapper Kanye West Sheds 'Stronger' Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (March 4, 2011, 5:47 PM EST) -- Hip-hop star Kanye West on Thursday won his bid to nix a copyright infringement suit in Illinois federal court alleging that he stole lyrics from one of rapper Vince Peters' songs to use in his Grammy-winning 2007 hit “Stronger.”
