Senate Confirms District Judges For Ill., Calif.

Law360, New York (March 7, 2011, 7:03 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate voted Monday to confirm three judicial nominees, two of whom are headed to the federal bench in central Illinois and one who will serve in California's southern district.

Senators voted unanimously to approve Justice Sue E. Myerscough for a spot on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and 89 to 0 to confirm Judge James Shadid for another opening on that court.
