Contractor Loses Challenge To SBA Decertification

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 7:57 PM EST) -- A judge in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims grounded an attempt by Mission Critical Solutions Inc. to reverse a ruling that left the contractor unable to compete on certain projects for bidders located in disadvantaged areas, in a decision released publicly on Tuesday.

Judge Edward J. Damich agreed with a ruling by the Small Business Administration in October to decertify MCS as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or HUBZone, entity.
