SAP Hit With Patent Suit Over Enterprise Software

Law360, New York (March 10, 2011, 2:31 PM EST) -- A Texas patent-holding company hit SAP AG and a subsidiary Wednesday with a suit alleging the German software titan is infringing a patent related to enterprise application integration software.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Aloft Media LLC claimed SAP and SAP America Inc.’s software imports violate an Aloft-held patent involving a method for integrating data across multiple applications.
