Bankrupt DBSD Fends Off Sprint's $100M Demand

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 10:14 PM EDT) -- Mobile satellite service operator DBSD North America Inc. on Friday objected to Sprint Nextel Corp.'s demand for more than $100 million in reimbursements in New York bankruptcy court, accusing the telecom giant of seeking more than it was owed.

DBSD objected to Sprint's multimillion-dollar claim, arguing that Sprint had not backed up that figure with a third-party audit, according to the objection filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
