Palm Beach Public Corruption Probe Snares 13

Law360, New York (March 21, 2011, 7:00 PM EDT) -- Florida prosecutors on Friday arrested several municipal and county officials and employees at a regional engineering contractor on charges that they traded luxury cruises, NASCAR tickets and other gifts for business with the state.

State Attorney Michael McAuliffe’s office filed charges in the Florida Circuit Court for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, accusing six city officials, two county officials and five employees at Chaz Equipment Co. of running a broad bribery and corruption ring, part of an ongoing corruption investigation called Operation Dirty Water.
