Serco Loses Appeal In PBGC Billing Dispute

Law360, New York (March 22, 2011, 10:52 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals denied an appeal earlier this month by contractor Serco Inc., which argued two cases brought by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. over billing disputes related to a database contract were actually the same case.

A three-judge panel denied Virginia-based Serco’s appeal on March 10 with Judge Anthony S. Borwick describing the case as “a tale of two appeals," with apologies to author Charles Dickens.
