Siemens Beats RICO Claims From Deal Partners

Law360, New York (March 22, 2011, 8:39 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge Tuesday tossed a construction consulting company's claims against Siemens Industry Inc. units and other contractors for $10 million in damages and money owed on a joint venture that bid on New York City Environmental Protection Department projects.

Judge Richard J. Holwell in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted motions to dismiss DDR Construction Services Inc.’s claims from Siemens, Schlesinger Electrical Contractors Inc., Alison Consulting Group Inc. and the companies' employees.
