Claims Workers Slap American Zurich With OT Action

Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 1:42 PM EDT) -- Two former American Zurich Insurance Co. employees launched a proposed class action Friday in a California federal court alleging the insurer failed to pay overtime wages to claims examiners in the state.

Cora Bucklin and Virginia A. Burton filed their complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California accusing Zurich of unfair competition, failure to pay overtime compensation and failure to provide accurate wage statements.
