Toys R Us Strikes New Deal In Manager Class Action

Law360 (March 23, 2011, 4:51 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in a putative wage-and-hour class action against Toys R Us Inc. outlined a revised, lowered settlement agreement Tuesday aimed at appeasing the California federal judge who previously refused to approve the deal.

The motion for approval of the revised settlement, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, reduces the total amount Toys R Us would pay and also stipulates that any unclaimed money would go to a charity, not back to the company as had previously been the case....
