Delta Settles With Airport

Law360 (April 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Over the objections of bondholders, a federal bankruptcy judge has approved a proposed settlement between Delta Air Lines Inc. and Kenton County Airport Board, putting to rest a dispute involving lease agreements for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

On Tuesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Adlai Hardin endorsed the settlement, much to the chagrin of the ad hoc bondholders who had earlier referred to the rapprochement as “fatally defective.”
