Electrician Charged Over TVA Nuclear Plant Work

Law360, New York (March 24, 2011, 3:05 PM EDT) -- A subcontractor employee working on a new nuclear plant at the Tennessee Valley Authority's Watts Bar nuclear facility was arrested Thursday for allegedly submitting false paperwork for cable inspections and measurements.

The indictment handed down Tuesday by a grand jury in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee contends Matthew David Correll never inspected or measured the cables at issue, which are intended to supply energy to safety systems for the new plant.
