Music Managers Sue EMI Over Stake In Bieber Song

Law360, New York (March 24, 2011, 3:38 PM EDT) -- Two music managers sued EMI Music Publishing in New York on Tuesday for breach of contract and copyright infringement, alleging they hold rights to a song recorded by teenage superstar Justin Bieber.

Vance Tate and Thomas Oliveira, doing business as New East Management Group, filed their complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against EMI, LA Reid Music Publishing Co., Sean Hamilton and Hyuk Shin over the Bieber song "One Less Lonely Girl.”
