Campbell Soup Labeling Claims Not Preempted: Judge

Law360, New York (March 25, 2011, 3:56 PM EDT) -- A putative consumer class action claiming that Campbell Soup Co. misleadingly labeled its low-sodium tomato soups in violation of New Jersey consumer protection laws is not preempted by federal law, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

Ruling on Campbell's motion to dismiss the putative class action, Judge Jerome B.
