Rajaratnam, US Spar Over Trader's Testimony

Law360 (March 28, 2011, 7:11 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors in New York on Monday prepared to put former Galleon Group LLC trader Adam Smith on the stand in Raj Rajaratnam's insider trading trial, battling with defense lawyers over phone recordings that may be played to jurors in cross-examination.

Smith, the next in a string of key witnesses who have signed cooperation agreements with the government, is expected to begin testifying sometime Tuesday, prosecutors told Judge Richard J. Holwell on Monday afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York....
