WCC Wins Judgment Over $36M Barracks Contract

Law360, New York (March 29, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday ruled in favor of Watterson Construction Co. in its suit accusing the U.S. government of improperly rejecting a $36 million bid to build an Army barracks in Alaska over an allegedly blown deadline.

Weighing the lateness issue, Judge Susan G. Braden of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims determined that WCC's email submission in March 2010 to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wasn't late.
