Swiss Re Unit Ends Suit Over Pizza Hut Storm Losses

Law360, New York (March 29, 2011, 7:35 PM EDT) -- A Swiss Re affiliate on Tuesday resolved a suit against one of the U.S.' largest Pizza Hut franchisees over coverage for nearly 40 restaurants and take-out locations in Florida damaged during the 2004 hurricane season.

Judge Marcia G. Cooke of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida dismissed the case following the parties' filing of a stipulation of voluntarily dismissal on March 15. Settlement details, if any, were not included in court papers.
