Madoff Employees Can't Shake Fraud Charges

Law360, New York (March 30, 2011, 9:09 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in New York on Wednesday refused to dismiss fraud charges against three former employees of fraudster Bernard L. Madoff, rejecting their argument that the U.S. government improperly froze assets needed for their defense.

Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied a motion to dismiss the charges against Daniel Bonventre, Joann Crupi and Annette Bongiorno.
