Mattel, MGA Fight Final Brawl Over Bratz Rights

Law360 (April 8, 2011, 10:38 PM EDT) -- A toy designer committed one of the biggest intellectual property heists ever when he thought up Bratz dolls while working at Mattel Inc. and took it to MGA Entertainment Inc., the toy giant's attorney asserted in closing arguments Friday before a California federal jury.

MGA's lawyer, on the other hand, argued before a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California that her client was the target of a corporate bully out to "absolutely crush" legitimate competitors.
