Ham Supplier Files Suit Over Starbucks Contamination

Law360, New York (April 4, 2011, 6:45 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey-based company that supplied ham to Starbucks Corp. sued two other contractors Thursday over spoiled ham that prompted the coffee giant to cancel its supply agreements for breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Wellshire Farms Inc. filed its lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging that SK Food Group Inc. and Hahn Bros. Inc. are to blame for the spoiled ham.
