Prominent NJ Atty Admits To Bribe, Lies, Conspiracy

Law360, New York (April 5, 2011, 1:09 PM EDT) -- Former prosecutor and Newark, N.J., mayoral candidate Clifford Minor admitted Tuesday that he bribed a man to admit to a weapons charge to hinder the prosecution of another suspect in 2007 and then lied when questioned about the matter.

Prosecutor Paul J. Fishman said Minor admitted to charges of perjury, conspiracy, obstructing justice, and falsifying records before Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
