Ex-PR Exec Gets 16 Months For Insider Trading

Law360, New York (April 5, 2011, 3:29 PM EDT) -- Zachary Bryant, a former vice president in the Los Angeles office of investor relations firm Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates Inc., received a 16-month prison sentence in federal court Monday after admitting in September to conspiring to commit securities fraud.

Bryant, 40, was ordered by Judge John F. Walter of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California to undergo psychiatric treatment during his incarceration and will serve two years' probation after his release.
