Union Sues US To Uncover Shutdown Plan Details

Law360, New York (April 6, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- As budget talks stall in Congress, the largest federal employee union said Wednesday it has filed suit against the federal government seeking details on how programs and services would be affected if the government shuts down.

The American Federation of Government Employees filed suit against the U.S. Office of Management and Budget and its director, Jacob Lew, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on March 30, AFGE President John Gage announced during a National Press Club event Wednesday.
