JPMorgan Wants Teller OT Actions Merged

Law360, New York (April 6, 2011, 1:19 PM EDT) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. said Monday that a Southern California bank teller's putative wage-and-hour class action should be transferred to a larger, similar case or be dismissed outright because, among other things, the suit names the wrong defendant.

In a motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, JPMorgan said that for reasons of judicial economy, Carolyn Salazar's suit should be transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
