Account Execs Hit Yahoo With Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (April 6, 2011, 2:56 PM EDT) -- A proposed class action filed Tuesday in Oregon claims that Yahoo Inc. has misclassified its account executives as exempt from overtime regulations.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon by Washington County, Ore., resident Sean Harvey, seeks to represent a class of all account executives who worked for Yahoo nationwide over the last three years.

It also seeks to represent a class of all Yahoo account executives in Oregon for the past two years.
