GAO Upholds Protest Over $46M Tech Support Contract

Law360, New York (April 7, 2011, 6:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office sustained a contractor's protest over a $46 million contract for technical support at the U.S. Department of State, saying in a decision published Thursday that the department never adequately explained some negative technical evaluations.

Technology Concepts & Design Inc. successfully protested a contract for the department's arms control and international security division, saying that the agency unequally evaluated the competing proposals of TCDI and contract winner Abacus Technology Corp.
