National Lampoon CEO Fights Lockdown As Trial Nears

Law360, New York (April 7, 2011, 6:22 PM EDT) -- The CEO of media company National Lampoon Inc. asked a federal judge in Indiana on Thursday to release him from lockdown as he awaits trial over an alleged $230 million investment scam.

Accused fraudster Timothy Durham urged Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana to vacate a magistrate judge’s order and allow him to leave the shelter he is currently consigned to in exchange for home detention.
