Wireless Device Maker Faces Car Tracking IP Suit

Law360, New York (April 8, 2011, 9:17 PM EDT) -- Melvino Technologies Ltd. and ArrivalStar SA on Wednesday accused wireless device manufacturer AnyData Corp. in a California suit of infringing five patents related to vehicle tracking system technology.

AnyData's vehicle tracking systems contain several notification and monitoring features that infringe U.S. Patent Numbers 6,714,859; 6,804,606; 6,904,359; 6,952,645; and 7,191,058, Melvino and its Luxembourg-based licensee ArrivalStar allege in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
