Google, Apple, Others Sued Over Search Results IP

Law360, New York (April 8, 2011, 6:42 PM EDT) -- Texas OCR Technologies LLC filed a suit on Friday in Texas accusing Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Google Inc. and others of infringing a patent related to displaying search results using character recognition.

Texas OCR brought the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, taking aim at Adobe Systems Inc., Barnes & Noble Inc. and Nuance Communications Inc. in addition to Apple, Microsoft and Google.
