Lighting Co. Can't Halt $64M Airfield Contract Award

Law360, New York (April 12, 2011, 5:03 PM EDT) -- Patriot Taxiway Industries Inc. on Monday lost a bid to block a $64.4 million contract award to Tactical Lighting Systems Inc. for a portable airfield lighting system for the U.S. Air Force.

Judge Mary Ellen Coster Williams of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims said she denied the contractor’s motion for a preliminary injunction because the court was expediting a consideration of PTI’s request for a permanent injunction.

The judge had previously denied PTI’s motion for a temporary restraining order.
