DOJ Urges 2nd Circ. To Block BMI License Premium

Law360, New York (April 12, 2011, 7:04 PM EDT) -- Weighing in on a licensing dispute between Broadcast Music Inc. and a background music services provider, U.S. antitrust regulators on Monday urged the Second Circuit to conclude BMI is not entitled to slap a premium charge on an adjustable-fee blanket license.
