AFL-CIO Sues AstraZeneca Over Handling Of Prilosec Patent Expiration

Law360 (October 18, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The largest labor union in the U.S. has joined forces with several California unions to file a lawsuit against U.K.-Swedish drug maker AstraZeneca over its campaign to persuade users of blockbuster heartburn drug Prilosec to move on to its next-generation drug Nexium after the patent on Prilosec expired.
