L-3 Can't Block Lockheed Simulator Sale To Egypt

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 6:16 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Washington on Friday threw out defense contractor L-3 Communications Corp.’s suit accusing the U.S. government of improperly awarding Lockheed Martin Corp. a no-bid contract to sell fighter jet simulators to Egypt.

Judge Victor Wolski of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims granted a motion for judgment on the administrative record by Lockheed, an intervenor defendant in the case, shooting down L-3’s bid to block the company’s contract for F-16 flight simulators.
