Obama Mulls Disclosure Of Contractor Contributions

Law360, New York (April 20, 2011, 8:20 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama is drafting an executive order that would require companies seeking government contracts to disclose their political campaign contributions, a White House spokesman said Wednesday.

White House press secretary Jay Carney said specific details of the proposal weren't available yet, but that the aim of the order was to increase the transparency and accountability of the government contracts process.
