Whistleblower Demands Reed Smith Docs In Oracle Suit

Law360, New York (April 22, 2011, 9:20 PM EDT) -- A whistleblower who accused Oracle Corp. of defrauding the government asked a Virginia federal judge on Friday to compel Reed Smith LLP, the firm that handled the software giant's government contract, to comply with his subpoena.

Paul Frascella, a former Oracle employee, asked the court to order Reed Smith to fully comply with the subpoena and a March 30 order waiving attorney-client privilege after the firm handed over only 12 documents and withheld the rest under work product privilege.
