Monolithic Files Suit Against O2 Micro

Law360, New York (May 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Monolithic Power Systems filed suit against O2 Micro International Ltd. Tuesday, seeking declaratory judgment that its power inverter products do not infringe an O2 patent that has already been asserted in various legal disputes between the rivals.

MPS asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to assert that products that have not already been brought into patent litigation between the companies do not infringe O2’s U.S. Patent Number 6,804,129.
