Giuliani Cos. Raise Conflict Issue In Delta Case: Report

Law360, New York (May 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two companies owned by Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani reportedly represented both a debtor and a creditor in Delta Air Lines Inc.’s recently wrapped-up bankruptcy case, raising a possible conflict of interest that was not revealed to the federal judge presiding over the case.

The lack of disclosure could lead Giuliani’s companies to be fined by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, according to a Wall Street Journal review of court records in Delta’s case on Monday.
