Ex-Lehman Boss Appeals $20M Barclays Severance Suit

Law360 (April 27, 2011, 3:23 PM EDT) -- A former Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. managing director seeking $19.6 million from Barclays Capital Inc. related to a severance pay agreement appealed his case Tuesday after a New York bankruptcy judge threw out the adversary suit on March 8.

Maximilian Coreth — who left Morgan Stanley for Lehman in April 2008, five months before Lehman went bankrupt — claims U.S. Bankruptcy Judge James M. Peck erred in ruling that he could not properly make a claim on Barclays for severance.
